You need a narrower wheel to run 245 in the rear. You can buy 2 more front wheels though, the offset works out about the same with the width difference. If you want an OEM look I would buy 4 front 437M or 4 front 763M and run 245/35 square or maybe 245/255.

Mine were put on this morning. 640M.
18 inch 235/35 F and 255/35 R(rear brandnew ones Pilot Alpin) andv they don't look bad at all. It's now 3 degrees Celsius (37F)and a lot of rain(yesterday snowy) . Steering feels lighter but still pointing in is A+ in this kind of weather. Traction too. In-cre-di-ble.But still easily driftable(this is also my driftday set lol) Cheers Robin |

18 inch wont fit the factory big brake, unless you don't have that option in Europe, etc
and stock size 245/35/19 michlin alpine 4a, will RUB slightly when you do full turn winter tires are taller in general

Has anyone been able to replicate the rubbing other than you?
The official specs show it is not taller than the BMW star spec PSS. The overall diameter is 25.7" for the PA4 and 25.8” for PSS. It seems highly unlikely it would rub. |

Curious that you guys are seeing rubbing. My LCI has 265/35r19 blizzaks on the front and it only rubs a little at full turn.

What options do i have if i switch out the stock 2NH brake calipers? What calipers would i be able to use instead with say 18s instead of the 19s?

437M with Pirelli Sottozero Serie 3 245 front 265 rear. The rears weren't cheap but they stick. Ran 225s all around on my M240ix and thought they were fantastic. Not sure why people dislike these tires! They're great.

winter sneakers
Ordered BMW recommended winter set with the car (US).
Wheels: 641M, square, 19" by 8.5". Tires: Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 non-runflat (235/35R19). Have had the Alpin on other cars and thought they performed very well. Last edited by dlong82; 12-21-2018 at 05:01 PM.. Reason: forgot to include tire size |
