Acceleration 0-271 km/h with gps data

Not as fast as I thought, it's about 1 sec slower than the M4 from 100 to 200 kmh

Are you guys running the same wheels and tires? If not, slight differences in unsprung weight and grip could be affecting these times.

Is grip a concern at these roll on speed tests? I thought that going from a roll (especially @ 60 mph) would eliminate wheel spin. Perhaps if the Road was damp.

Now heavier wheels / tires / even brakes can make a difference.

So was the m2C YT clip posted by RS4 above but that car had lighter 641m alloys.

Where do you see wintertyres in the video?

In the first few seconds you see the 788 plus summertyres.

This is a Dutch car and test. I 'know' that car(Dutch distributor)

Cheers

AutoTopNL stated PLEASE NOTE: ROAD WAS COLD & DAMP

but I don't see any comments referring to wintertyres ...... but OK...

Anyway, my car on 640M 18 inch Alpins is a tad faster than on 788s PSS

The car is really slow above 200km/h, much slower than a RS3, for example. But here you do not have 4wd that slows you down, so maybe the cause is the bad aerodynamics. The car in the video has 788 rims with summer tires as shown at the beginning and on other videos of the same car.

If using oem sized Mich PA's they'll have a lesser rolling radius hence shortening yr gearing

Exactly.

Ex OG M2 felt definitely faster on named winterset. M2C not so much.

But is the car in the accelleration video on wintertyres or not?
On that still it's obviously summertyres.

M2C vs 240i , M2C is aerodynamically very poor but balanced downforce (almost no lift at much higher speeds f & R)

Cheers
