Tow hook license plate mount
Hey guys,
If anybody would like a Cravenspeed Platypus front license plate tow hook mount, PM me and I'll send it your way - if you're in the US. It's super high quality and nice, but only works for OG M2, and I bought it mistakenly thinking I could install on my M2C. I ain't gonna use it, and don't want it to go to waste, so figured there might be another Bimmerpost member who could use one. My loss is your gain! |

That's right. The Platypus is designed such that the plate is fixed perpendicular to the stud. To avoid the sensors, you'd need to be able to adjust the plate so that it is not 90-degrees perpendicular, but more like 60-degrees. The Platypus was designed for the OG M2, and my understanding is that it works perfectly well with the OG M2's bumper and sensors. There's another tow hook mount that actually works with the M2C, however. Check out the thread below. https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1541780 |

Check out the Carbonio plate mount as well... As long as the lower grille "mesh" has stayed the same on the M2C, this should work. It's really easy to get on and off, and it actually looks correct since it's in the center of the car where the plate belongs... I always think those tow-hook ones look weird.
