We have a few options for the M2 Comp. It is such a new car so fitments are limited, I have listed them below. Please note that we have not tested the 19x8.5" ET35 on the M2C (as it is so new) so while we are fairly confident that this size will clear the brakes, we cannot guarantee it just yet.
Anyways, onto the recommendations: Front & Rear: 19x9" ET30 with 245/35-19 winter tires - M2C recommended fitment. - Direct fit. - Only available in the SM-10 design Front & Rear: 19x8.5 ET35 with 245/35-19 winter tires - Available in both the SM-10 and EC-7 Designs I hope this was helpful information! - Max

You should have no issues running 255/35-19 tires all around. The SM-10 19x9" ET30 is scheduled to be in stock December. A little into the winter months, but we're trying to get them completed as soon as possible. They are currently on sale if you are interested.

How about going with some massive winters...? The 911 guys do it. I know it's contradictory to all the peak performance winter - narrow/square etc.
But how about 265/35/19 F | 285/35/19 R winters?

I think you might have issues with this profile. I am running 255/35/19, and at half lock, I BARELY clear the inner fender liner.

640M Style OEM Winter Wheel Set
Winter Time!
Wheels: 640M Style, Front 8.5Jx18 ET27 / Rear 9Jx18 ET29 Tires: Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 - Front 235/40R18 95V / Rear 255/35R18 94V Actually not too unhappy with how they look, although not winning a beauty contest with them. But these are the ones they use for testing in Sweden, so at least they should work well |

I just bought a square 235/40/18 tire setup (nokian R3) but I just realized it's smaller in diameter than oem summer of 3.4% in the rear and 1.6% in the front. Smaller of 1.2% than the recommended winter setup by bmw (245/40/18).
Would you guys have any concerns with that change ?! For your info I matched it with rtx graz wheels in 18x9'' ET40 with 17.5mm spacers all around. |

So I sold the Hankook 255 40 19's and got myself on order some Gislaved 225 45 18's on a 18X8 rim. Hopefully will cut through the snow without any issues. Gislaved have always been good to me in the past.

Not sure you're heading in the right direction. Your new set up (225/45/18) will be 6mm TALLER than the stock tires. Your new tires will be narrower, allowing greater clearance between the outer shoulder of the tire and the fender liner potentially, but it's impossible to know if you'll be OK, without knowing what offset your 18" wheels will be? Also, 225 is pretty narrow all around?

Running
245/45/18 michelin xice. Side profile is a bit tall. It should have been 35 or 40 profile. Anyway, it does rub on outer edge of tire on inner fender liner on the front when full lock. Took out a heatgun and heated the area to push in and no more rubbing. Good thing is it fills up the wheel gap nicely |
