Hello everyone. I wanted to let fellow members know that I am in talks with eisenmann exhaust systems about a new exhaust for our M2C cars. This would be for North American vehicles without the filter. As a MFlight member, we have a very good relationship with eisenmann. I have a U.S. vehicle here in Germany and I am able to provide them my car for development at their factory in Stuttgart. Right now they are seeing if they will even make one at all for the M2C. They promised to get back to me by Thursday with a decision. I will keep everyone updated on any and all developments.

Even just a rear section would be great. They have one of best sounding rear section exhaust for the M3/M4 S55. Surely they just need some minor changes to get it to work on the M2C.

I like. It sounds smoother and throatier than stock.

Seems there would be buyers to get rid of the suitcase looking lump hanging off the tail end. Perhaps the sound will be a secondary reason for some. It NEEDS a better looking muffler. If they can extract better sound too, then WIN WIN

The all black version would help hide the muffler. The quality looks amazing.

Tell Eisenmann that there is definitely interest. The earlier they get to the market, the more they will sell. Even BMW is dragging their feet with the Mperf exhaust.

Honestly, it looks almost plug and play. But looks can be deceiving. M2C exhaust below. The 4 hangers look like they are in the same position. The pipes leading to the rear resonator look to be the same angles.

That`s my exhaust!

It is not equal. The stock M4 muffler is even bigger than the M2C muffler.
The M4 midpipe is longer than the M2C Midpipe but it can be retrofitted.

What about just the rear section. I can tell the midpipes are different. Are you saying the M4 mufflers is wider, so the hanger wouldn't line up?

So I did get an update. But the news is not promising. I've attached a copy the response I received. I will contact him again on Monday with suggestions from here to hopefully persuade them to at least modify their rear section from the M4 to fit the M2C.

BMW's aftermarket support is rather extensive. I don't doubt there will be many exhausts to choose from. Just a matter of time.

I'm sure it took some time for after market exhausts to come out for the OG back in 2015/2016. There is talk that BMW will build upwards of 30,000 units of this model (similar to OG #'s) and if the only major complaint from buyers is the exhaust (be it for sound or aesthetics), the aftermarket will certainly not want to miss that boatload of $$. You guys just need to be patient.

Who's gonna be the 1st try Eisenman F8X GT4 rear section replacement race pipes on their M2C ?

Or for "warranty friendly" option keep it OEM and make BMW's own GT4 system fit an M2C....

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1451451

Parts perhaps for just rear section only - photo below

* 18118431005 - Rr. Pipe (Lt.)
* 18218431006 - “ (Rt.)
* 18118431004 - “ Reinforcement brace
* 18218431007 - Pipe Clamps (x2)
* 22326760945 - Hex Bolt w/ Washer (x2)

The eu version def needs resonators, otherwise it will sound like a rattle can.

Great news everyone. Eisenmann contacted me yesterday and I will be dropping my car off for exhaust development on November 12. They said it will take 2-3 weeks to make it happen. Very excited about it and can't wait to post pictures/photos/impressions.

2-3 weeks to create an exhaust? Let's hope they take a bit longer than that to produce a quality product.

Yes I know, but it won't be a full system. It's just the rear section for now as they don't have intentions to make a full system at this time. Anything that gets rid of that huge muffler I will be happy. Eisenmann makes quality products.

I think they will use this and make it compatible with the M2C. I will have more details next week.
