Look at the muffler! It´s black :O
Someone knows if it´s just a mistake in the rendering or if they really paint it ? Source: BMW configurater (Austria) |

I don't think its a mistake, its just they put it in shadow so it doesn't draw the eye. Sensible marketing move tbh.

no I do believe it's fully digital now. If you watch the interior overview video there are no outlines visible of the numbers like the current black panel LCI gauges.

Digital instrument clusters will be rolled out to the 2-Series too. Maybe we'll still see it before F87 EOP, otherwise straightaway on the 2nd generation 2-Series. BMW is a bit backlogging with the 2-Series, compared to competitors (for example optional on a Volkswagen Polo, Audi Q2, etc.). Remains to be seen whether it will feature in 2019/2020.

I got back from BMW Bornem (Belgium) this afternoon, where I had a glimpse of the M2C. It was not accessible for public (without an appointment that is), and I was not allowed to take any picture because the 'setting' was not adequate. So no photographs guys
But got to see & hear the car and I'm totally sold. The Hockenheim Silver color is really great and reminded me of the Individual Mondstein at certain lighting angles. It was faaaar more beautiful than the pictures we all saw passing by, in my opinion. Where most of the photographs give a more white impression, in person, HS truly is a silvery metallic with different kind of shades that for example Mondstein delivers. I'm a fan! The M2C was equipped with the 788M 19" wheels, the optional bigger brakes and the optional M Sport seats. The wheels did look better in person, same thing for the seats! Got to start the engine and revved it a little. I don't have much experience in the S55 department, but I liked the sound although it had less 'volume' compared to the current M2. Overall: I already was a fan of the current M2 (and still am), turned into a big fan of the M2 Competition and now, after spending 10 minutes around/in the M2C, I'm getting crazy about it. And yes, I'm going for one in Hockenheim Silver Countdown initiated for a drive hopefully somewhere end of August or September. |

I'm actually hoping it has some gray hints to it, because plan Metallic silver is too boring. Every car maker's got one of those.

We've seen him before since 2015/2016, but this year, after working out more, he goes into 'competition'.

Since the M4 Comp. is almost on par with the upcoming M2C, is the current review of the M4 a sign of things ahead.. Hmm..

So... I just noticed something or is this a typo in the sheet I saw? I thought the seats were pretty much just M4 carry overs but I noticed it says they are Dakota Leather and not Merino. Is this a fact?

Also no cut-outs in the M2C seats.
