Garage List
2018 BMW M2  [0.00]
Current estimate is end of October.

I'm resisting the urge contact (pester) my dealer for updates!

Live in Wiltshire. Work in Gloucestershire. Have a LBB DCT. Regularly see another LBB on way to/ from work. And have seen a couple of other M2's in the area, you guessed it also LBB. Passed an Alpine White in Southampton (where I also travel quite a bit).

Previously had one of the 1st Focus RS, have a list of cars to get through but just might keep this M2 for a bit longer than planned

Looks mint, where did you get the carbon for DCM as I would love to change mine and not seen that anywhere.

It's all M Performance stuff, I got the package which included handbrake lever, DCT Shifter and DCT base surround in Carbon/Alcantara

Standard MPerformance part.

Cotswold BMW had that kit for about £300 fitted I think. DCT cover, surround and Alcantara surround.

Yes I think I paid £305 after discount for the handbrake, dct surround and shifter, not cheap but it has given the interior a nice uplift. Got free fitting as well - bonus because I would have damaged something based on past form!!

By the way Eibachs and spacers are on now but can't do the pic's due to the monsoon conditions up here in Cheshire

Interesting, would love to see that. The stock stance is pretty good but could be improved.

I will get some pic's up this morning Chris, I am really pleased with the revised stance and road presence now.

This is in prep for the winglets and side blades going on Tuesday, I am hoping it will all come together quite nicely visually. Basically I cancelled the MPE and got the aero with the money I saved, I like the balanced sound of the stock system.

To complement the front winglets I am just mulling over the Sterckenn central splitter but it is coming in at £750 which is a bit eye watering!

Here's the pics after lowering on Eibach Pro Kit and fitting H & R 10mm spacers.

First photo is before

Then after fitting

Car drives same as before, maybe new springs are actually a touch more compliant, car is looking a lot more aggressive which is what I was after.

That's looks excellent Petay. More aggressive like you say. Much of an insurance uplift for you?

I am up for it, getting a little bit late in the season weather wise but I am near Hale, Cheshire and more than happy to organise a run out one Sunday maybe mid morning meet at my place and a run out to a local pub for a beer or shandy and a sandwich whilst comparing our cars and what we have been up to mod option wise.

Good to see a bit more UK contribution action on the forum!

Sounds like a plan I'm Knutsford way so only down the road. Will just have to keep an eye on weather as be good to do it when it's not pissing down - easier said than done though!!
