The stitches do not match the original stitches! Otherwise, it looks great

That is what you call too much of a good thing. And thumbs down on the gloss CF.

The carbon pieces look awful and the pattern is wavy and looks like a mess. I think it is hydro dipped with a clear sprayed over it because the pattern really doesn't look like carbon. Either way I'm not a fan.

I like some of the alcantera, but cannot understand why they skimped on the CF after all that work and money. Looks like a poor attempt at CF print plastic...
Really like the pedals though.

Agree the carbon bits look horrid. And cheap. But I would still keep the alcantara dash and lower dash maybe with a matching stitching.
The car has also been matte wrapped. And wheels plastic dipped in a similar carbon patterned material. It was done in Lebanon. I have asked a UK reputable upholsterer and he said alcantara dash should not be an issue, airbag also not an issue as most manufacturers just wrap their own dash without issues. Just need to get idea of cost but I think it could be a nice upgrade. Failing that maybe only instrument binnacle ? |

Not a fan of this, at all....I do like the idea of covering some of the plastic parts with Alcantara but this is total overkill.

I really do love the alcantara dash with the blue stitching. Gotta see if someone in NJ can do a job like that. Looks super nice. The CF on the other hand is overkill. I would keep the open pore (looks raw to me which goes with the style of the car) and just add a few pieces like the shift knob and steering wheel inlet. Not much more though.
If anyone knows anyone on the east side that can do this type of alacantara work please let me know 🙌 |
