the 1/2 series and 3/4 series use the same exact front seats. i know this because when my 3 series had the rusting seat pan problem the 1/2 series owners also had it and all the part numbers are the same for the seat.
so if a M3 seat is the same size as the normal 3 series seat, i'd guess its a good probability of fitting |

I did feel that in the M4 the front seats woud very often hit the roof or worse the sun visor when giving access to the rear seats. I'd think the smaller sized M2 would make this a no go even if the footprint/bolts match the rails.

I think not as they are not listed on BMW.de, but you can still get them brand new from some online shops.

Since creating this thread I've learned a lot more about the car and the seats, although significant, are no longer a top priority. I will let things play out and drive the car for a while before spending thousands on seats. At the price point this car is selling for I am happy with the overall package and can afford to throw seats and/or coil overs on anytime.

In your seat research did you notice if power seats could be easily converted to manual seats. Could just the base/slider be replaced if the part was sourced? We can't get manual seats in the US on the M2, but the manual seats sit lower as you know. A 1M owner I talked to modded his manual seats to sit even lower than factory. He gained another couple inches with his Mod in order to fit with a helmet better. |

I think the only thing that would fit would be the front seats. Back seats and assorted trim would be different.
There are two M4 full interiors on eBay right now. |

Old post but.... NO you cannot buy them from BMW anymore. Discontinued. Only available through from resellers (Used examples that they find after searching months for) for around 10-14k (14k from IND)
