OEM M2/M2C wheel vs tire size options

What are other folks doing?

An M2 buddy of mine runs 255/35/19 & 285/35/19 RE-71R on the street & track with OEM wheels & suspension with no issues.
The 71R has a wider shoulder than most street tires, so if it works you’ll be fine with any tires in those sizes. |

With 255/35 and 275/35 aka M4 oem fitment, there're plenty of good tires available. The downside is so that you have a slightly taller tire wall than M2 factory and similar traction (same compound of tire provided).
You can go thinner and wider with 265/30 and 285/295/30 for better aesthetic and of course traction, but that would come with the penalty of the stiffer ride, ballooned look(295/30) without wheel upgrade, heavier tire weight (will slow you from 3rd gear) and limited tire availability.

agree with above, 255/35-19 and 283/35-19 no problems.
