did u reuse ur stock side mirrors for the new side mirror assembly or did have to purchase a new pair?

For those interested in sourcing these from the US, I exchanged email traffic with getbmwparts.com yesterday and they plan to offer a package in the near future. At the moment, for some reason they can only acquire the left side M2C mirror assembly.
UPDATE:
Just received word from Evan at Getbmwparts that he's put together a package that can be configured and ordered through their website. Here's the link:
https://www.getbmwparts.com/p-f87-m2...kf87m2cmirrors

You have the option to order autodimming or non-autodimming mirrors. You can also select primed mirror caps or you can upgrade to the M Performance CF caps. He said delivery time from Germany to dealer is appx 2 weeks and then they'll ship out from there.

Cost for package with primed caps = $1,475
Cost for package with CF caps = $2,085

Both packages include free US shipping.

Once my Christmas shopping is out of the way I'm seriously contemplating picking up a set. These mirrors are the only thing I really wish came on my '18 M2. They change the look of the car

That's considerably more expensive than what the people paid ordering direct from Germany.

Agreed. Rather just order from Germany supplier directly seeing as GetBMWParts ships from Germany also. There's literally no incentive to buy from GetBMWParts if their price is higher

The lowest quote I've seen on this thread was 1165 euro. Currently that converts to $1,321 USD. Compared to Getbmwparts pricing of $1,475 thats a savings of $154.

Personally I've had some bad experiences placing orders from overseas and receiving damaged or wrong items. The return process was costly and a big PIA. For me, paying an extra $154 gets peace of mind knowing that Getbmwparts is stateside, has an excellent reputation, and will stand behind whatever purchase you make.

To each their own I guess. Cheers
