UK deliveries of M2C

Hi all.
Interested to know if anyone has had a confirmed build/production slot on an M2C from a UK dealer? The US thread seems to be packed with confirmed orders bit seems very quiet on the UK side.

FWIW, I left a deposit in April and haven't even got an order number yet. Also, I've been told by 2 separate dealers that orders will be fulfilled on a first-come first-served basis (i.e. no dealer allocations) - anyone heard different?

See the reviews are coming in thick n fast..

Pop over to the news section and have a read... seems a beast of a car apparently!

For me I'm happy with the LCI std. I thought long and hard and just couldn't justify the expense on the M2C.

Same, I knew I couldn't push the boat out far enough for the competition, but I'm happy to hear it's as good as promised.

Wondering though, what's the expected life cycle? Thinking I could possibly grab (a deal on) one of the last ones in 2021 maybe....

Who knows! BMW could release the CS and kill the M2 altogether after that model.

They must have high expectations for the std M2 due to the residuals that were quoted when I bought mine! BM's loss if its shed a load of cash!

Same here, didn't add it as from what' I've read it just adds extra weight.

Normal brakes will be able to engage abs so the big ones only help when your dealing with fade which must be very hard on the road

after a lot of debate, i went for the standard brakes. Figured less weight and if i ever track her, will need to get decent pads and fluids anyway.

Has anyone been able to spec the previous M2 wheels on a new M2C order?
It appears on the configurator, but doesn’t seem to allow it to be selected.

Also, any idea when the M Performance UK prices will be confirmed. Need to get saving.

Holy moly! I placed my order on 8th Sept for an estimated Nov / Dec delivery.

Got a call today, it's in build this week and will be ready for collection w/c 29th Oct!

That's 7 weeks order to collection - not bad IMO

Seems certain dealers have better slots than others. I don't think it's an equal priority system.

Some said they couldn't get one till June 2019 which is daft.

Will get a lottery ticket on the way home
