M2C CF Engine Bay Strut Brace
Hi, Selling my stock Carbon Fiber engine bay strut brace from my F87 M2C. 6000 miles on it. It should fit F80s and F82s (as well as certain model 2, 3, and 4 series). In perfect condition. This will also for sure fit F22 M235i and F87 OG M2s. Costs $700 new. Selling for $400. DM me for more info/pictures. Local pick up in Orange County, LA, or the Bay Area. You got it. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt. I have no reason to scam people on the forums. On EBay these are still going for $600-700 with damage and missing segments. I see good condition ones around 1000 there still. Regardless, price dropped.

Hmm, I might be interested (and am actually local) but not sure if this is a pure drop in for the OG M2 or is there some major work that has to be done to make this work for the OG M2 (frame cutting, additional mounting, etc.).

This thread by a member details how to do it. He just needed a few other parts from BMW and it bolted right on. Only a little bit of trim needed to be cut, no welding or touching the frame. Someone also said there that it added frontend stiffness, steering responsiveness and road feel. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions too. |

Still available? I'm local to you (I move between LA, OC, and the bay frequently).
