This somehow is a better pic of the car than a lot of the professional ones. It shows the excellent profile of the car without overly accentuating and enlarging the quad bug eyes

Interstate 10. It's almost 2,000 miles of just straight road, or "turns" you can take at 130 mph without moving the steering wheel more than a couple millimeters.

That's like driving from Madrid to Moscow without turning. And you'd still only be 2/3 of the way across the US....with at least 10 hours straight (pun intended) spent driving across Texas alone.

Bleh. I like the mountain twisties in my backyard...

https://goo.gl/maps/hRZ4QRjDNQPythtN8 and just zoom out a bit to explore the roads here. I dare say it some of the tightest, twistiest, most scenic and fun roads you'll see outside of a race track this side of the Mississippi River.
Those roads look great! Definitely need to try that out if i am ever out in Cali with a proper vehicle!

Also try the tail of the dragon at Tennessee/North Carolina border. Was able to drive up there and have that experience with my prior car (m235i) earlier this year. So many miles and roads to experience around there!

I wouldn't trade my M2C for this Alpine 110s but I really do understand car enthusiasts appeal especially if you have ever driven one. Also, its looks are sort of on par with the new Supra. Ok, I'm not a big fan of the Supra but you have to admit it looks French and that's worth some points. In Los Gatos, we have lists of windy roads and way to many Bimmers, Porsches, Lambos, Ferraris etc. Owning an Alpine 110S might earn you a very unique spot in our local car world.

The 110 is a cracking car by all accounts and weighs around 2400lbs, love the front end on it as it harks back to the original, I'd love one.

Alpine = Renault BTW.

Just drove an M2CS stickshift today, a friend picked one up. It’s a very well rounded package, I loved it. My M3 is throwing some hissy fits, it’s probably jealous.

yup, tail of the dragon is our east coast rival for twisty roads hahaha. I love going out for cars & coffee meetups or the Sunday morning brunch driving crew. Sit out at Alice's restaurant and watch an endless parade of cars, motorcycles, etc roll through. You'll see everything from 1940s classics to modern hypercars like a Pagani.

To sum the article up, the M2 CS is too expensive but they don't care, it's the best.

The Alpine looks better in the flesh than it does in pictures. As has been said before, it is all about its driving dynamics. So much so in fact, that when I was the Nurburgring in the summer, there were several there.
