Mudflaps by TommyLGarage

Hey guys just wanted to give my review of the TLG mud flaps for the OG M2. I got these to protect the side skirt and rear fender from rock chips and other crud that ends up there. It always seems to be the dirtiest place on the car when I wash it. These are also a great idea if you drive in the snow or on the track.

So what I like about these is the low profile design. No offense to subarus but I wasn't looking for that look. They are flexible so they wont break off and the fit was spot on.
Also if you want to take them off it isnt a problem because they arnt glued to the bodywork.

I'm sure they are quite functional, I just wish they were a bit more contoured and looked a bit less like someone just cut up a plastic waste bin.

The CF ones have the opposite problem -- barely any coverage.

Jw, did you redo the default holes for the front flaps to make the flaps straight? In other pics, I've seen the flaps fan outwards at an angle instead of straight up and down.

This might be a good track protection. Sometimes you go off the track a bit or shoot up rocks from the rear wheels.

Are they easy take on and off? I assume it's a couple of screws.

I also have them and they are fantastic, wish I got them sooner. You can hear all the rocks and debris hitting them and it keeps the door and rear fender so much cleaning.

It's 3 screws if I recall.

That's pretty expensive. I think these are the Rally Armor universal mudflaps that go for $25

Do you have them? I also think $70 is quite pricey so I've been looking for a cheaper alternative

I don't have them on the M2 but I did have them on my Subaru haha. They get the job done but after a year or so they get warped from all the wind resistance.

If you don't mind spending some time to DIY, you can make your own for ~$25.

Links for the drawings for where to drill/cut are in the video description on YT.
