Been trying to decide on what after market pipes I'm gonna get. I'm 100 percent going for AA equal length mid with resonators. For axle back I'm undecided, and downpipes also undecided. But i want something loud and smooth with no rasp or hissing

Even with the same muffler, the car will sound different, due to the tune of the motor. The tips are different, curious if the internals are the same.

New video walking through the reasons the S55 sounds the way it does ("good or bad"), with a clip of the Active Autoworker equal-length pipes in action.

Eventually I'd like to investigate combining the AA equal-length pipes with the "best" catback. "Best" for me would be: (a) deep, non-raspy, and civilized (not loud) with valves closed; and (b) non-raspy, non-farty, but making its presence known with valves open.

Are there any sound clips of the AK slip-on with the AA equal length, stock downpipes? I haven't found this combination yet.

I'm doing AA Resonated EQ Length + AA Axel Back.

I've heard good feedback from the one person that had it lol.

Stock downpipes, I do have a set of VRSF but haven't bothered installing yet and don't think I will until I'm out of warranty.

Good plan

the AA setup sounds great, once its installed you will know whether the sound is aggressive enough for your taste. If its not, you can add the downpipes

I'm waiting on my AA valved axleback.

This will be paired with a traditional AA mid-pipe and Wagner Euro HFC's.

Can't wait to hear it...

Yes, it's also true that it's tune is less powerful, has a harsher ride and is way more ugly to look at.
You saying your car is ugly?

From the point of view of fitting an aftermarket exhaust like Akra, the M2C and M2CS are exactly the same car. They may have different stock exhausts, etc. But those are irrelevant as far as aftermarket exhausts are concerned.

The same Akra unit for M2C will fit into the M2CS ... same underbody space, same connectors, and etc.

Both M2C and M2CS are great cars in their own rights

Are you speaking of The Hoff?
I think his was non-resonated?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah his was but he mentioned that the resonated sounded better to him while testing.

However since my previous comment I've reached out to Mike to see if I can hopefully change to non resonated since I'm more than likely not changing out my downpipes anytime soon or ever.
