Which color?
Hello, new to the forum and ready to pull the trigger on a comp m2. I have a choice of hockenheim silver or long beach blue. I love them equally so im torn. Which would you choose and why

Not sure how you could love such different colors equally, but for me it's LBB all the way. It looks better to my eye in general, but it's also iconic for the car, and there is no time when I look at it and think, man, it's weird (which I do with HS).

you have to decide if you want the extra attention LBB brings. HS is s cool color, but it does sorta blend in with the sea of gray-scale cars on the roads. LBB really pops when you see it in traffic...there's just no missing it...just like sunset orange.

Definitely check them out in person, the LBB looks incredible in the sunlight.

For me personally, I picked Long Beach blue because I wanted my car to stand out. But to be honest, I think Hockenheim silver looks amazing in person and probably would pick it over Long Beach blue. some days I get tired of the blue but for the most part I quite like how unique it is. I also, really like the sunset orange they offer. it's unique to the M2C and looks super good under the sun.

thanks !! I actually bought them for my previous S3 but then traded it in for my M2 and never got them installed. I was so bummed out and had to sell them. but then I decided to buy them again for the M2

Having seen HS a few times, I think it's only ok. I think it looks better in the shade where it gets a gray sheen but in sunlight that tint fades and to me it just looks white. If you like white, then I think you'd like it.
Personally I would take LBB. Very unique and dynamic color. I love my SO Comp but between blue and orange it's a toss up for me. |

I love my LBB, but yeah; it does draw attention. HK silver is really nice and if it had been available on the OG M2 it would have been a tough choice for me as well.
I do like LBB better, it's mainly the attention I don't want; but that comes with the territory. |

When ordering my M2C I was torn between LBB and HS.
After looking at both in person LBB had to much Green/Teal for my taste and I went with HS - no regrets. |

Both have color flopping characteristics so I would encourage you to see both in person and with different lighting.

The green/teal is my favorite part of the color, and I always try to push that in my shots. To each their own! Bliss. by Andrew Thompson, on Flickr |

LBB looks too teal and glittery for my taste, looks like an ideal color for girls nail polish. HS all the way for me, really looks nice with M Sport CF parts.
