I order my car with a rear view camera and I thought it will be equipped with front and rear sensor also. After I look at all the M2s, there is no front parking sensor, only the rear.
I just know today after ordered it but its okay for me. Mine will arrived in 2017 (according to my dealer in Thailand) Just can't wait!

And by the way, the rear view camera will only show up on reverse right?

Yes, unless you have it coded.

Then I think it can't activate the parking sensor anyway because there's no (P) button to activate.

I'm sorry, you are correct, we don't have front sensors so they can't be coded. I was talking about the rear camera. Sorry for the confusion. I have the executive package that includes frontal crash warning, how does that work?

From what I have read they didn't put front sensors on the car because of the shape of the bumper, they had to choose the aero and cooling over having front sensors. I believe the chief designer spoke about this in Detroit.

Isn't that the auto braking? Or at the very least it's some sort of audible warning.

With a .35 Cd, the M2 has to be the least aerodynamic coupe BMW makes. Possibly has more drag than any car they make.

I haven't researched this but noticed a camera mounted with the rear view mirror. I believe it uses that to provide a lane departure warning (it vibrates the steering wheel) as well as the frontal crash warning which as far as I can tell just lights up a red car on your dash. Also, I think that camera is used to read speed limit signs which will show up as an option to display on your dash. You can set it up to warn you if you go xx amount above the limit to display an additional warning.

Is there auto braking? I've seen the warning but no auto braking.
