Because new ///M model.

Therefore more interesting than all the "XYZ Blue M3 build" stories we get every week.
And the occasional "Sinister Black M4 build" stories.
And the monthly "Sponsor-posted M4 accessory catalog build" stories we get.

Agreed 100% I almost didn't order one because of the front in photos. Once I saw the front in real life, all doubts were immediately cast out.

Nice car. Congrats.
You should be able to turn off the rev-matching feature, or at least that was the pre-production rumor. I hope it's true. It annoyed the hell out of me when I test drove 370Z a few years back.

Regarding the artificial exhaust sound: isn't that simply a matter of pulling a fuse or something?
Thought I had heard that about the 235.
Then again, I had heard they stopped that "feature" in the 2016 235's too, but maybe not if they put it in the M2.

The artificial sound comes from a small 2-lb box in the trunk.

#because new

Otherwise the front page would be another F8x M3/M4 in an individual color and we've seen plenty of that too.

Checkit .... 6 hours later and an imola red individual M4 bumps the M2 you whined about off front page :

The servo steering on the e9x m3 is highly subjective within this forum and those who have driven the e9x.

Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. Even semi pros like Chris Harris wasn't fond of it but then Ben Collins raved about it in recent m2 review.

As for lack of torque down low in the NA car like e46 and e9x, the reason I went fm two 335s to m3 was I missed having to learn what gear I needed to be at at what rpm and all in my daily driving. But then I also miss the torque in daily driving as well.
Thats what I was afraid would be missing in these cars and what I like about driving a manual And now it even auto rev matches for you. Someone tell me a manual in this car is still fun...

I dont have the car and sadly i probably will never, so i cannot answer you, but i suppose the purpose to have rev-matchin is to have all the benefits of a manual with none of the inconvenience...

Coming from BMW i am sure it still is fun...

Congrats OP on the white Bride...

Please share some more details of your lucky-hood

I will say this for rev-matching. My wife can now drive a stick. As for me, I turn it off because I rather enjoy the 'inconvenience'.

The real question is, does the manual gearshift light up at night?
