My local Home Depot has a grey parking lot, which makes for awesome HS M2 pics

No, same spot. These pictures are from the Spring, and I am amazed that throughout the summer, the chalk shade mostly disappeared and the beast looked white and silver. Now that it is fall again, I'm starting to see chalk more and more. Currently my car has a thick layer of brake dust because I haven't washed it and have taken some very nice drives through the twisties. Time to wash this weekend!

When I was ordering my EC-7 wheels, I originally chose Anthracite. Not because I LIKED it best, but because it was closest to the color of brake dust. Ended up with black, but at the moment they look pretty Anthracite to me... |

I really lusted over the E46 M3 in my teenage years. This M2C is the car that I thought I was getting when I bought my F80 (which turned out to be overall just too big and too numb), and so far is the closest thing I've experienced to my friend's E46 that I got to drive from time to time back in the days.

I'm excited to get into my M2C start it and drive off happy every time. I've owned some very very special cars and loved most of them but my M2C is a joy. I guess that's not surprising.

I love this car.
I also own a Z3M Coupe (S50) and this thing is completely different. I'm from the UK and most of the roads here are pretty awful - lots of potholes to avoid popping those 763Ms!!! I spent some time this week in the Isle of Wight with fast roads comprising hills and a blend of tight and sweeping corners. The M2C is such a hoot to drive quickly. Sure footed and confidence inspiring, you can really lean into the corners - and I've yet to try in MDM / DSC off mode. I absolutely love it. |

Yep. Test drove a HS 2020. Surprised by the power and response. Drove home in my Cayman and put it up for sale. Couldn't wait after a LBB showed up at a local dealer so I bought it --- finally sold the Cayman this weekend. Hopefully, by next weekend I can park it in the garage.

The li'l beast has been cooped up in the garage for the last 4 days because of the snow/ice we got last week. This morning I was up at 5:30 and the road dried up yesterday (or so I thought), so I decided to get in the beast and go have fun. Well, we started getting a wintry mix for an hour while I was out, but it was a great time to play on wet, empty roads, doing some slides on the winter tires. One year in and I still have the same excitement for this car. What a playful car, full of character and personality!

I chose to forego winter wheels and tires this year, so I'm suffering the winter blues already. Haven't had mine out in 2 weeks...desperately watching the forecast for that next day of sun and 50 degrees...

Winter wheels were the best move ever. It was torture to drive another car for 4 days.

This. I've had a number of fun cars (e.g. B8 S4, F90 M5, W205 C63S, R35 GTR, 991.1 GT3) and it feels closest to a "goldilocks car" for me. In other words, the other cars were all high performance but some of the cars had a numb driving experience while others were challenging to fully enjoy on public roads without getting excessive speeding tickets. With the M2, I can drive in relatively slow traffic enjoying the sound of the engine and exhaust and then when things clear up, I can easily send the tail out and have some fun without going 100+ mph. Haven't tracked the car yet but looking forward to that once the weather warms up!
