semi-slick for the M2 (with oem suspension & rims) ?

Hi guys,
I need to change my tires and consider a combination of
- semi-slicks for the summer (when I also regularly race it)
and
- winter tires for the winter

=> Which semi-slick tires would you recommend ?

I intend to keep my oem suspension & rims.

I live in Europe so preferably advice on products that are not only available on the US market ;-)

Thanks for your kind advice,

OLO

I'm having the same question. Do Michelin cup 2's fit the standard wheels?

MPSC2 and Trofeo-R both fit the OEM wheels.

Edit: I run the MPSC2 on my GT3 RS and they're terrific. However I intend to run RE-71R on the M2 (once I finish off the OEM Contis) because they make them in our size (they don't for the GT3) and they have a much better price/benefit combo.

I've exclusively run the MPSC2 on my GT3 and now my GT3 RS. There's nothing wrong with them at all - other than price. (And atrocious handling if there is standing water on the highway.) There's no reason to run these tires unless you are tracking the car - IMHO.

Already ordered 2 Yoko AD08R for the front.

The rear tyres in 265 seem to be out of stock in EU ???

I hesitated with Toyo 888R but the treadwear is really much much lower than the Yoko

I run the AD08R and like them. Great traction, a stiffer sidewall, great turn in and they last significantly more than Re-71 or cup 2. You basically get 90% + of the performance of the other two but significantly more lifetime.
Only issue I found is they tend to get louder towards their end of life...

Bad luck: my order has just been cancelled for the AD08R by the distributor : Yokohama ran out of stock ???

No idea when they'll be available, that situation seems to be the same everywhere in Europe.
No other choice than waiting !

Unless I change the rims and opt for track rims with cheaper tyres ? I'll start a new post
