I’m curious: you said you don’t plan to use the seats on your M2, but you have the seat brackets for the M2. Did you try them and not like them in this car? Asking because I’m considering these seats in an OG M2. Thanks!

funny enough, I had bought similar seats (second-hand) a few years back that came with the brackets for an M2 -- I held on to those as I knew I would want to add an M2 to my stable and throw on these same seats.

What's keeping me from switching them out is that I have the comp with the orange stitching on the seats with the M2 LED emblem. Matches the interior/exterior of the car. The seats also look sporty and hold you in really well. However, no offence, if I had the OG M2, it would have been the first mod. I don't find those seats to look sporty at all. I say do it!

Ah, that makes sense. No offence taken! The OG seats look out of place, but I find them comfortable with the adjustable bolsters. How do you compare the fit of the Comp seats to that of the RECARO Sportster CS? It looks like the thigh bolsters are deeper on the CS.

The Recaros sit you lower and deeper in the seat and it tighter both around the waist and leg/thigh area. Getting in/out of the seats will take some getting used-to; what I found easier to do so is using the lower door sill to push yourself in/out of the seats. But like I said, you get used to it.
