BMW Factory Posters and More

Hello all!

Some of you may recognize my username--I was fairly active in lighting/coding related threads. I've been on a bit of a hiatus since going off to college for a computer science/business dual degree (now in my 2nd year). While life has kept me busy, no longer being the primary driver of the E90 has led to my activity in the forum falling off. However, I may become the primary driver once again this fall, at which point I would love to become a more active member of this community--I'm particularly interested in offering very advanced coding services to members.

Anyway, I joined a fraternity last year, and I moved into the house a few months ago--but my walls have been pretty bare. I've ordered and framed a bunch of posters, and I"m still not done yet! But I'm gonna show you guys what I've put up so far.

In regards to framing, I used arttoframe.com. And I was genuinely surprised with the quality of their work. Are they perfect? No, they're not. But after seeing the work, I would have expected it to cost 2x as much as it did, if not more. All the small frames (and by small I mean less than 16x20) use glass, and all the larger ones use plexiglass.

Most of these posters were odd sizes, and the prices reflected that. The largest poster was also a strange size (29 x 37) and that brought up the cost of the frame/shipping significantly. But everything you see framed was done for under $200 shipped. The next batch of frames will cost about $100. Long story short, if you need things custom framed on the cheap, these guys are great.

Anyway, on to the posters!! All of the posters, by the way, were purchased from various sellers on eBay. Most are originals, but some are reprints. All of the advertisements are originals.

Continued...

There are two more posters (one factory poster about using OEM parts and another ad with a 635CSi and a Leica!) that are not pictured here.

Well...I don't really wanna deal with shipping the posters and the frames, so how about I do one better and link to you one being sold on ebay right now?

Don't worry about these crackheads thinking they've ventured into the classifieds section...

Very cool collection of posters. Thanks for sharing!

My favorite is the E46 M3, followed by the M1, and the 733i, but I like them all.

No worries! I'm definitely going to start collecting some more of these sorts of ads, maybe I'll venture out into Porsche--they had some cool stuff too.
