Rear bumper of M2 is total FAIL
the front is not that much better but not as horrendous as the rear
Why no distinctive mirrors??? Cost savings. Lol
BMW dropped the ball on this one. Sorry

I agree,BMW is following the exact same formula as the 1M,by keeping the features very limited,so it doesn't get to close to the specs of the M4.I am also disappointed that the car isn't getting M seats and a carbon fiber roof but I still think the car is the perfect size, has a great design and is going to be a blast to drive.

Agreed. That's a dubbed over s65 v8. Hope this doesn't have a sound mod like the f80, but if it does, at least they picked a better sound!

I totally agree. I would never get Adaptive Suspension. Even if I did have that option, every time when I get in my car, first thing I do would be switching to the sport suspension setting. And by the way, I have 704 suspension in my 328i, I even wish that it was stiffer.

the wheels are too large for the car, raise the car so high the rear end could be from a compact x-over suv. even if you lower it, may still end up looking like people who put 19-20" on camry/accords without a drop

It does look cheap in the press pics. It's a sea of black and the shiny black plastic on the dash and the dakota leather look bad in the pics. The 2 series interior isn't that bad in person. It's not great, but it's not bad.

the carbon fiber doesn't even look real. it looks like plastic that they made to look kinda like the carbon fiber.

Your M4 has a nicer interior, no one is saying it doesn't

It's the carbon fiber from the M Performance Catalog

What? I'm being serious. The M4's interior is nicer. It's a more expensive car. Having a cheaper interior is to be expected for the M2.

Relax....

Yep, and the M4 interior looks cheap when compared to the M6. It's all relative.

lol ok. I'm sure you wouldn't have said that if the guy didn't own an M4...

Whatever, doesn't matter. Hope you enjoy your M2 when you get it

For all those complaining about the lack of cf roof, at least we can put roof racks then unlike M3/M4! 😛
I think it's the same as I ordered from BMW and installed in my, now sold M235i, and it is real CF in a satin look.

How are the ED allocations looking? Since you set up a lot of them. Will this car be obtainable in the 1st year?

I actually drove an M4 with passive suspension and it was absolutely FINE. These guys are pansies

It felt like an S-class compared to my E36 sitting on coilovers at full stiff. I fully plan on ordering my car with passive suspension, unless the Competition Package is THAT good

To drive on track you do not need different seats, you need a harness. I just installed a Schroth quick-fit in my M3 and it is perfect this way.

The calipers have 2 pins that you need to tap out. Buy a 6mm punch tool, it will make your life a lot easier. Also note that there aren't a lot of good pad options out there, for some reason. Ex: https://store.zeckhausen.com/catalog...3_16_6009_6010

I put Pagid yellows and although the compound is fine, they are lacking the thin OEM backing plate which makes them fit a bit loose - there is some backlash when going into/out of reverse, and sometimes on track too.
