Labor cost for adding these mods?

I'm adding the following mods to my 2018 M2 and was wondering if fellow forum members could give me some estimates for the labor costs/hours at a BMW dealer:

-Catted downpipe
-Charge pipe
-Intercooler
-Intake

I've always gone to my preferred BMW dealer, but would consider a decent indy shop if you guys know any in the Baltimore/DC area. Appreciate any input!

Why not just call your dealership and have them quote it out?

1) I've gotten different quotes from different BMW dealers in the past, so trying to see what a reasonable amount would be based on what others have paid.

2) Same for indy shops. Trying to see if people know any good ones nearby and how much I will save if I went that route.

2 or 3 of those things you can install yourself with basic tools I believe. Could save you several hundred dollars and gain some knowledge. Just an idea.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but here is a quote from my local independent shop for a charge pipe install with me providing the part:
Quote:
We normally don't allow clients to supply parts but in this case I will make an exception as is not a safety related part and the fact that we are neighbors. Please see attached estimate for exact pricing and if the supplied kit comes with the seals then of course we would remove them from the bill. Parts is approximately $120 and the labor is approximately $795 for a rough total of $915 pre tax. This is then covered with a 3 year 36k mile warranty on labor only due to supplying the parts.
I passed and decided to do the job myself in the future.

hz101 I have been working with Ed at Induktion Motorsports to address an 02 sensor issue and replace my horns that had failed shortly after purchasing my used vehicle. They have been easy to work with, are just outside of Baltimore and I view their labor rates as very reasonable. They also seem to be very flexible in terms of what parts they are willing to install as purchased by the customer.

I'd say 4-5hrs of labor is more than enough time and for a mechanic that doesn't know what he's doing and has to look up instructions or spend 30mins looking for a socket he misplaced.

The intake takes no more than 30mins. I did mine myself.

Downpipe, my mechanic had done in 30mins. Saves a ton of time/hassle to disconnect the O2 sensors from the connectors at the top of the motor, instead of removing them from the downpipe.

Intercooler and piping, I had done with a bunch of other things, so I'm not sure exactly. But the instructions I've seen doesn't seem like it's more than 1.5hrs. Probably less.

Cost is gonna depend on your mechanics per hour labor rate.

Which dealer in the Baltimore area are you going to? The Baltimore area has lots of good BMW performance shops to choose from: Gabe and Frank Smith at TTFS in Crofton, Tommy Ivic at Tier Car Care in Pikesville (20+ year master BMW mechanic and BMW CCA race instructor), and Matt Coyne at Coyne Performance in York, PA to name a few.

Hell, shoot me a PM and you can come to my garage and I’ll help you. I did all of my bolt ons myself before having TTFS install my Pure Stage 2 and XDi HPFP.
