In Italy the CS will be on sale at € 106.700 and only 44 available on the market. Originally 150, but reduced in favour of other countries. CCB at € 7.500
First deliveries in June.
All bad news..especially the price even considering the lower depreciation due to limited numbers production. Hardly worth it imo.

I hope the pricing for the M2CS will be adjusted from the beginning to see the car sell well (and quickly), so it can become the sought after halo car BMW so desperately needs now.

If it is indeed deserving of that halo status, which is at the moment uncertain.

I don't want them to fail, I want them to succeed. I want to be convinced I need to trade in my M3 next year...
Indeed! Lets pray that is the case. Otherwise, people will start looking elsewhere for thrills.

I hope BMW learned from their mistakes for the 3/4CS models.

Great car and it feels special just overpriced.

Either then or definitely on the 22nd when the LA Autoshow officially kicks off.

However, why is it that many other countries have already released pricing and USA is this big wait and see??? 🤔

I thought about flying out for a day, but didn't want to be pissed off if it's priced higher than my threshold.

If you were planning on flying out to LA just to see the US unveiling of this car, I bet your price threshold is pretty high.

You could also consider watching the presentation live from your comfy chair at home (live streaming):

Then use that saved coin to help offset the high price

"Word Premier", "Gran Coup" and "in future". Does BMW proofread its texts ?
Wow another new model! The BM2 CS!
Honestly, who proofed this? This is like those emails I send when I come home from the bar drunk, but remembered I had some work I needed to do.

The online reveals are cool and all, but not like seeing a car in the flesh.

Does anyone know if BMW will be @ the Chicago Auto Show in February? They pulled out at the last minute last year and it just wasn't the same.

IF they're going to be there, I would assume this bad boy will be there too...would love to see it in the flesh first as I am contemplating such a high dollar purchase....

Did you contact dealers yet? You would think orders would begin in January?

I've talked to a couple of dealers, and received a wide range of information, none of which appears to be official or confirmed.

Again, this slooooooooooooow strip tease related to the reveal, pricing, ordering, etc. is really annoying.

According to BMWBlog, after weighing the M2 CS, they said its 1,532 kilograms or 3,377 pounds.

If its true to the production model, super happy to see about 200lbs of weight reduction for the manual.

I'm new to the forum, just put a reservation down for the M2 CS for track\weekend use.

But was that with the CCBs? I am guessing that's the majority of the weight savings, as the adaptive suspension gains likely offset the CF weight losses, for the most part anyway.

My next car, like my current one, will be a DD. I DO worry a bit about the front spoiler getting damaged and whatnot, but I really, really think this car is going to be HOT in the flesh. The OG M2 (wifey's car) in the garage is already hot, and so is the M2C. The little additions like the CF roof, red calipers, 763 Ms...make for quite the package.

There is no 200lbs of weight saving

It's of similar weight to the Comp, may be a tad lighter.

I think 200lbs would be more of wishful thinking. However, 125-150 less than the comp is realistic. It will definitely be lighter than the comp.

With 444HP and 404Tq, this things is going to move.
