Cyba tips install on MPE

Hey everyone,

Got my M2 MPE installed today. Went with CYBA tips. Awesome quality and finish with brushed look. But I am trying to tighten and they seem loose and like they are gonna go flying off. I'm not super techy. I see the three bolts and as I tighten them I can still move the tip around with my hands and I feel like they are at max tightness. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hmm am I supposed to tighten the outer bolt or the inside star based screw?

I would think that the nut is there to supply threads for the allen set screw however I haven't seen a set of those tips in person.

You've tightened the set screws and they're still loose?

Loosen the nut, tighten the inner bolt, tighten the nut.

The nut is there to lock the inner bolt in place.

Does this mean you have a set of the genuine MPE tips going spare?

Do you have any cold start rattles with the Cyba tips?
Just wondering if the rattle is coming from the M performance tips.
Thanks

No genuine tips. Could accept the cost as I feel they are overpriced

I've had my MPE w/OEM carbon fiber tips since last year on my '18 and the local dealer has finally given up on trying to fix the cold start rattle. It's embarrassing. Such a shame...

Cyba tips might be an option, but I didn't like that you could see the pipe inside the tip.

The other option, that many, including me have done, is to get the M Performance knock offs from eBay for about $200 for a set of carbon tips that look nearly identical.
