Going to the dealership post-BM3 tune

Hello, I recently tried out the BM3 stage 1 ACN tune, but I wasn't happy with the amount of timing pulled and two knock events I registered, so I am going to wait until I get my intercooler installed and will be mixing in some 100 octane to see how that effects timing before I go back to the ACN stage 1.

I have now flashed back the stock tune but have not locked the DME. I have a 2018 OG and did not have get the DME unlocked by anyone prior to using BM3. I now want to go to the dealership for scheduled maintenance and a piece of warranty work (oil change, and an issue with iDrive occasionally lagging on input)

What do I need to do to ensure that my car isn't flagged for being tuned by BMW or the dealership?

Your car will be flagged regardless if they plug it in. There is nothing you can do.

Find a mod friendly dealer and SA and they might not plug it in for work where they don't have to.

My car is a lease with all the bolt-on mods, I never had any issues with the dealership. I don't even remove the tune.

They do not care as long as you are not asking them to fix a problem caused by your mods for free. You also can call the service adviser and ask, just don't give them your name unless you where they stand on this issue

Thanks for the input Mike!

Yeah, I have no intention of trying to fake them into doing warranty work on my car that is a result of anything happening with the tune.
