Can M2 Sunroof be coded?

First of I am pretty new to the forum and this is my first thread. So I hope I am not misplacing it or something. So sry in advance.

Not to long from now my 03/2017 M2 will be arriving.
It has a sunroof and electric mirrors. 2 options I didn't have on my f22. I have BimmerCode and was wondering if I can code the sunroof and windows to open on a double unlock or something similar.

Thank you all in advance.

May not need coding to do that, just hold down the unlock button on the keyfob and the windows and sunroof open. Not sure if Austria has the same coding for this as US cars. It is great for cooling the car when you have parked in the sun and are walking up to the car.

I would like to code mine to do this instead...

Would be very useful for when the spouse complains about driving too fast...

You didn't ask, but I was able to code my electric mirrors, so that when I lock the car, they fold in, and when the car is unlocked, they fold out!

I have no idea why BMW wouldn't have that already coded, and I'm also not sure if they are set the same where you live, but thought I'd let you know.

You can definitely code it in. The way it works is you press and hold lock/unlock and all your windows, mirrors and sunroof will open/shut. You can also remove the delay so that it happens instantaneously. It's all within bimmercode easy mode within the front electronic module under comfort opening/closing:

No coding needed to open sunroof and windows. Simply hold the unlock button on key fob.

Ok so sunroof also opens upon hold.
But can it be coded to double press? Because it is really annoying to have to hold it every time I get to my car.

I'm sure it can. Check the coding options on iCarly and bimmercode.

It's also great if it's raining and you accidentally lean on the unlock button in your pocket to then fill your car with water.

That can't be changed AFAIK. Windows up/down with key is only activated by a press and hold of the lock/unlock buttons. If you want to make it less cumbersome just code out the delay in bimmercode.

That was only the case in North America. Rest of the world had the option.

It can be coded so it closes the moonroof as well as the windows.

Coding will remove the US DOT safety restriction.

It does require comfort access.
