I have one 2 miles from my house that I refuse to go to because they pull shit like this.
I drive 25 min out of my way anytime I need service work just to go to the one that I trust.
Hopefully you have another dealer in the area you can go to. Tell these people to go fuck themselves.
I will but I need them to make this right

Wow. Good luck, man.

Through my job, I can get an attorney service just like dental coverage. It’s cheap. I haven’t used it but something like this would have me trying it out for the first time.

Terrible. Sounds like yelp/google/mgruppe review is required

Update

I visited the dealership and meet the GM and the new service director.
They claimed they don't know if this happen before or at the dealership. ( even with proof pictures provided and missing bolts)

After discussing this issue they promise me to replace bolts and rivets I didn't agree with This fix and left.

Also they promised me a free oil change even when I my car is still under warranty service.

I got a callyesterday from BMW USA and they told me they will try to cal the dealer and see if they can do anything but no promises.

Any thoughts on how I can get a lawyer or any other way to make this better?

Be surprised if BMWNA can't fix this. I had situation where dealer and regional mgr. refused good will repair. Called NA, they escalated to corporate case manager. Had email next day that repair was being covered.

What kind of redress are you looking for?

Global imports is well know in the Atlanta area of being one of the worst places to buy car, get services and the worst customer service ever!

It's only in business because it's big and there's no other bmw dealer in 30 miles.

I was readying the yep, google +, forums and they have horrible reviews and they seem to to care and keep working like this.

Shady practices from comments from ex employees to not doing the services that people pay for....

Not sure if it will help, but my car was up on the hoist yesterday so I took these pics (was thinking of your post)...this proves that the car can be lifted correctly without touching the winglets...notice the gap between the lift and the winglet. Last one shows specifically that the mounting point is in the correct location. Guys that did your job are a bunch of fucktards.

No way that BMW would have designed the winglets so that they would have to be removed to properly lift the car.

Your dealer didn’t use the correct lift points and then tried to hide the damage they did.

That’s lame. I hope BMWNA can help you out. It seems unlikely the dealer will do anything for you.

I was just concerned that they could fall off the vehicle (due to missing blind rivets) and cause additional damage to subliminalaudio's car or other vehicles.

Thanks for your pics! But if you notice the used adapters to lift the car without touching the car
Also the global imports don't have that type of lifters .. they are moe like long X

lol @ "adapters"...this is Canada Bro...that's a hockey puck!

...and no, I'm not kidding...very effective way not to damage the car.

In any event...the guys that were working on your car shouldn't be allowed the fix the wheels on a shopping cart, let alone touch $50K+ autos.

Not lifted correctly. Seems open and shut to me. Sue them, you have the metadata to back your claim.

Stop early in the morning ... See the GM personally.

I am surprised they don't get a bunch of cars keyed the way they do business.
