Anyone know when the MPerf carbon roof / hood is available?

Tried to order both today at the local dealer but they have no lead time available and was told it will likely be sometime next year?

Anyone have any insight? This car is way too heavy

Buy this to save more weight and pay a lot less money:

ANTIGRAVITY lithium battery (13.2 lbs. The stock battery was 48.4 lbs. That’s a weight savings of 35.2 lbs! A local BMW shop can easily "code" the battery so your onboard computer knows the age and power rating of the new battery)

Did you need the mounting kit?

And do you have any more details on the coding?

Very cool cost effective way to drop weight but one thing to keep in mind, a CF roof and hood take weight off the top and front of the car. The battery is located in the trunk so you'd be taking weight off the rear which is already lighter than the front.

CF Hood (Part number: 41612449807) is already available with a price tag of $6K but some dealers offering it nice discounts. Check out BMW of Morristown here, their price is $4.5K.

Thank you for that info! My dealer said it wasn’t available but the parts guy seemed lazy - will contact them

Although the stock battery will survive in winter... a lithium battery may not.
