it took me a good 20 minutes to find the hole to stick it back in without removing the panel. it sticks downward more than just perpendicular to the floor, once i realized that it was found fairly quickly

The large yellow airbag warning stickers on the sun visors were an eyesore. With the visors in the up position they were beacons with the black interior and headliner.

In order not to spill the cleaner all over the interior of the car or stink up the interior with the chemical smell I removed the visors from the car. Very easy. A small cover over a single 25 torx head screw and a simple electric plug and the visors come off.

I removing the ones from my 2012 535I using Goof Off and they came off easily. Not so with the M2. I stated out with Goof Off then moved on to Rubbing Alcohol. Nothing. So I moved on to Acetone. I used it sparingly and it worked well. It dissolved the sticker and took it took several steps of applying and wiping to clean it off. Then I applied several applications Lexol Vinylex Protectant. There is a slight shadow where the sticker was but it is so much nicer than the warning labels.

looks good. Did you use nail polish remover or pure acetone? How bad is the shadow. Better/worse/same as photos? thanks

Good question. I am out of town and will check and post the straighten when I get home. It was out of my garage in a gallon can; not nail polish remover.

Once they are back in the car you have to look real close to see any shadow. But, those stickers.... you can see them real well.

Yea I gave up trying to fit my big ass hand in there and just hit the two nuts with a ratchet and pulled the dash down a bit made it 100% easier and I felt like a doofus for trying to stick my big head and hand down there for 20+ minutes and fiddle with it.

link?

The UK ones are made in Asia (I'll assume China)

Here's the owner's response:

"Our mirrors were designed, prototyped and tested very carefully here in the UK, then the design was sent to our partners in Asia for manufacture – being a startup company, this makes it cost effective for us to deliver volume. The mirrors you’re seeing online could well be a duplicate or copies, however I cannot comment as I haven’t seen the mirrors you’re referencing. If you could send a link, that would be really appreciated. "

Here you are.

http://www.1erforum.de/threads/m-sty....234978/page-2

Mine are also manufactured from China (like all...) ABS plastic base and then covered with a layer of real carbon fiber with clear coat.

Put my order since several mentioned that the fit is good and accurate.
If you click the link you will see a LBB M2, these are not the correct one. Actually I do not know why he posted these since they have nothing with the group purchase to do.
I will get my M2 within 3 weeks and then I can snap a couple of pictures.
However the overall finish and accuracy to the original is high.
Cheers

Black double slat kidney grills $129 AUD ($99 USD) - purchased this for surround only

http://www.bm1centre.com/au/body-kit...s-f22-f23.html

Carbon fiber mirror caps ($91 USD) - heaps of sellers of these on Ebay - but this item has sold 59 times and Ebayer gets 99.5% positive feedback!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/321490757132...witem=&vxp=mtr

Both items arrived quickly to Australia

Also ordered this carbon rear diffuser - in transit should have it soon.

Please show us how they look once installed! Probably going to buy exactly the same items, just not so sure about the grills...

Ok, fitted this Ebay carbon rear diffuser this evening. Doesn't fit 100% but close enough, and given the price, I wouldn't return it for the real M performance diffuser. Lighting isn't great, but you get an idea of what it looks like
