A few tips, one is pry the plastic tab from the "inside"/medial aspect (ie the edge facing toward the middle of the car) as it is hinged...once it is open it is super easy to unscrew with a torx and slide the electrical connection apart.

I used the pry bar I got from IND when I ordered my black chrome set.

Now onto the ASD harness!!!!
I was surprised no one had tried the rubbing alcohol tip prior. Happy to hear it worked for you.

Just used your method, worked flawlessly! So easy. So far I don't see the shadow from inside or outside the car. Let's see if I can see it when driving around in daylight as there is a shadow left over (I'm sure some glossy armor all would "hide" it). Thanks!

No need to use a tool, the plastic tab on the other side needs to be pushed down. It barely moves down, and when you pull the connector apart it takes a little force.

Yo, that's illegal. The Po-Lease will come down on your a$$. No joke. Worse than removing the mattress sticker.

Here is what I did: I simply cut a piece of carbon fiber wrap and applied it over the ugly warning sticker. Very easy, and I am very happy with the result! and easily reversible.
