Yes I think so. But that's like anything in Australia isn't it.

In other news:
1. Went to bank and got cheque. Check.
2. Got insurance. Check.
3. Now just need to wait 19 hours 23 minutes. But who's counting.

It’s worth the wait!!! I took mine through the Burnley tunnel today, and, of course, I drove it like any sensible 11 year old would.

That noise 👌🏻

I'm getting so excited. How's the exhaust, I'm glad we don't have the OPF but I still can't wait to hear it in person. Have this feeling I'll be keeping it in sport/sport+ 99% of the time. Is the ASD annoying?

If you don’t mind me asking who did you get insurance through and what was the cost.

First M2 Competition in Sydney delivered.

Took delivery of my BMW M2 Competition this morning at Sylvania BMW. Previously I had a BMW 1M Coupe.
Here are some pics . First impression driving home was great. Car feels very well built. My only dislike is the huge and hideous rear muffler.
Happy ///Motoring.

Looks fantastic! How did you end up attaching the plate? Looks like you went with the tape option?

Budget direct. $900 per year. I did change excess to $2k as opposed to $1k. But that’s sort of irrelevant with a $100k plus car. Online gets you 15% discount.

Congrats on your delivery 1MOz, love the pics.

I had my first look and drive of an M2C yesterday, saw both LBB & HS, originally i wasn't sold on the exterior cosmetic changes going from pictures i'd seen but they definitely look a lot better in person, especially the wheels.

Agree though about that rear muffler, is quite noticeable and not a pretty sight, possibly get it painted black?

Hi mate, thanks and we talked about painting it black to match the quad pipes. Might end up doing this if upgrades are ready for a while yet.

Fantastic photos! Best shots I’ve seen of an M2C, I haven’t really been taken by it until now!

Drove one today for 1/2 hour.. not super impressed with them.. maybe because it was raining (drizzling)

Pros
- Car looks great
- seats a lot more comfortable and hugging
- good top end power
- much improved gearbox tune (a lot more smoother around town)
- like the interior alcantara touch
Cons
- sounds average
- interior dated
- doesn't feel that much faster than regular m2

I'll take one for a drive in the dry maybe will feel better.

Who in Melbourne drives a LBB M2C number plate ending in QT, I saw you on the M1 today! Nice colour!

Also, the muffler is definitely not that noticeable.

Probably not standing outside..but on the road, following behind its noticeable.

Not saying it would deter me at all! Just saying.

I was driving behind and it really wasn't like super obvious. As in if you didn't compare it to the previous model you wouldn't know. At least for me.
