Life Cycle Impulse, aka mid-life 'refresh' of the model.

I got the part number, negotiated a great deal with my supplier, had the coding sorted...but then decided I actually preferred my non LCI original M2 grey dials (much better to look at when off and also exclusive as they not available in any other Bmw) - so scrapped the idea and just bought the LCI rear lights instead - which are a marked improvement over first gen.

Thanks for the info. But how did you sort out coding and know it physically fits without even installing it?

I have a good relationship with a dealer who let my friend read all the codes off an LCI sitting in the showroom.
I don't know it physically fits 100% but I was willing to take that gamble as my supplier was willing to refund if the part didn't fit.
I decided not to go ahead primarily for the reasons in my post above, not because of potential fitting issues.
