.... my question is when will BMW start production (if at all) of the MY18? Will they be available straight away or will there be a delay while they build regular LCI 2 series? Imagine the fall out if BMW just stopped making the M2 all together

Article is completely wrong. It states the MY2017 M2 will end production February 2017, but the image they posted, along with the image we've seen here already on bimmerpost, states the MY2017 M2 will end production June 2017 (this is correct).

I was going to point out the same thing but you beat me to it

The schedule clearly says EOP for the MY2017 F87 is 06/17, so I'm wondering where the author got his conclusion about EOP being 02/17.

Furthermore my dealership has confirmed 2 April allocations and 1 May allocation for MY2017.

So is the author wrong or are we all missing something??

Article is inaccurate trash. Seeing a lot of that these days from auto "journalists". Seems they do little if any research and are simply looking to create clicks over actual facts. I watched a M2 review on youtube today where the guy said he had been driving the car for a week and put the car in the comfort setting to make the suspension more comfortable then the sport and sport plus settings. Sad days for journalism.

Everybody makes mistakes! Wondering how your dealer got allocations for may, when allocations for Jan- March are only out.

In Canada allocations for calendar year 2017 are being released in 6 month blocks.
