The tail definitely has great proportions. Can’t wait to see it with the camo off!

You've had a hell of a collection of M cars looking at your sig. I'm in the middle of debating whether my E36 M3 will have to go for the M2 or not. I absolutely hate all this waiting.

Don't sell your e36M3. It's a future classic! People are saying its gonna be the next e30M3 as far as sky rocketing prices go. Espcially since your is in that cool Techno Violet color!

Thanks. You know what's funny? Absolutely everyone (mostly outside of the M2 subforum ) has said that I'd be an idiot to sell an absolutely clean TV E36 M3. I don't think we'll ever see the E36 do what the E30 did in terms of price, but I fully expect the values to go up as more people crash or stance them.

I really wish I could get an M2 to add, but that would make 3 2 door M cars. As great as that sounds, I don't think I could pull that off

If only they had made an M3 Touring.... my choice would have been so easy!

Body proportions look great from behind but the tires look thin, hopefully because of the winter tire setup. I want some wide kicks.

The design of the car is clearly complete on this unit. It's got to be at Geneva. It must be.

I'm fighting the urge to get another e46, the M2 anticipation is keeping me in check. Thanks for the updates/pics!

We're never satisfied with what we have, do we?

I'm trying to figure out if living in a tent is feasible, as long as I get to keep both E36 and E92 M3's, while adding an M2.

I really have no idea. I'm trying really hard to just stop thinking about it until I see it, and then of course test drive it. Unfortunately, I just do not see any other new cars in this price range that I'm all that interested in purchasing at the moment. Hell, I might keep both M3's, skip the M2 and get a 328d Touring. Who knows...

You know you're going to love the M2. The M235i is already a blast, imagine taking that up a nice notch in all areas. The tent thing could work...mmm. I like the way you think.

That backend is just what I was hoping for!

I'm standing directly behind my M235i with the picture so I can get an idea of the backend to scale. Niiiiiiiice!!!

It is coming out during Summer/Autumn 2015 according to Scott.

I wish I still had my E36 M3. Such a rewarding car to drive... its always kind of been the odd duck of M3s, people seem to put it last on the list. I would keep it, you will regret selling it if you only use the money for a down payment on M2. Start saving a bit and you can have both

Oh I have no doubt that I'll like it. I'm just wondering if it's worth it. I also hate the idea of getting rid of a clean E36 M3 in a rare color, only to turn around and realize that it was a mistake. These aren't getting any easier to find these days.

Like I said, I'm thinking way too much into it, so I'd rather just enjoy the M's that I have now. In my case, I won't be ready to pull the trigger until at least Summer 2016 (for a MY 2017 model), so I have plenty of time. I just wish I could test drive one now so I can figure it out haha

P.S. Would the E46 replace or add to the E92?

Damn, it does look like an M4 from a distance but was really hoping we'd see new headlights, like the 1 series LCI. Guess that's not going to happen...

You must seriously be the 4th person that has told me that today. The problem is that I'm not getting rid of my E92 M3, and if I keep the E36 M3 too and an M2, that's just way too much more overlap and almost too car collector-ish haha.

So while yes, selling the E36 M3 and using that cash for a down payment would be nice, that's just one too many cars. I also have a 4Runner beater on top of all this too.

Like I was telling Denk, it'll probably have to come down to a test drive before I can make my final decision.

I'd say sell the e36, they are depreciating like crazy!?. Especially in that weird purple color......PM me if you want to "unload" it.

(So truth be told my 2 e36 M3's were my favorite M's, after my current crazy little bitch 1M)
