I will wait until I see it in person, but at the moment not really feeling it. For some reason the 1M looks so much better.

Projectors look a lot better than the LED crap. The car needs work with the hood/bonnet design and side mirror orientation (it's big and looks like it will fall off the side).

All my likes!!!! I'll take the LED headlights please!

I'm still really hoping that this thing will come with a Carbon Fiber roof. I have yet to see any confirmation or test mule with one. I also hope it'll get CCB. I'll be ready to buy in a few years!

I'm assuming they are taking inspiration from this:

Personally I wish we get the normal hood (minus the line) if we'll talk following GT's lines. As usual the bean counters will ride the regular hood from the 2 series so no luck for us

Totally agree with ///W about the LEDs in person - much nicer - and seems to fit the design of the "not-round" corona rings better too.

I wish someone would take a shot at doing the rear...or the side...

Ahhhh right you are, Ken. I haven't downloaded that update yet. I don't mind them on the vision gt but I don't think they have a place on the production m2

Interesting to note that the vision GT has a normal shut line on the bonnet (hood) right down to the grilles

I'd like to see a rear render too. I hope it's an improvement over the regular 2 series because I absolutely hate the way it looks now.

Good catch, and boy does it make a difference. Cut lines are a large part of what makes or breaks a car design. I cannot fathom what drove BMW to go with that hideous horizontal cut line right across the front of the F platform cars.

It has to do with European regulations around pedestrian impact safety measures. Which sadly ruined the hood lines on BMW's.

I know it's for pedestrian safety but I just feel like Europeans should stop walking in front of cars even if they have the "right-of-way". My dad always taught me as a kid; you can be right but you'll be dead-right if you don't look in every direction for a car. I applaud the effort to save lives but perhaps we should look for ways to avoid the human/car impact altogether.

Its partly because of the narrower and crowded city streets that are predominant in olde Europa people are just IN the streets all the time

Guys that's a bunch of BS and you know it. There is a way around this...look at the upcoming 7 series, which will once again be in proper form, hood line wise.
