Ultimate Care Maintenance Program

All new BMWs bought from a dealer comes with the complimentary 3 year/36,000 mile scheduled maintenance program for the original buyer. Since I've seen quite a few M2s already exchange hands here on the forum (I am the 2nd owner of a M2 with 205 miles on the odometer) I thought it would be good to for others to know that BMW offers a program called Refresh which can be purchased by non-original owners from their local dealers. I'm about to find out what cost is and will report back.

This would be interesting to hear.

Also wonder if it's possible to buy an extended warranty to 100k from BMW after the first one expires. Kind of like they offer for their CPO vehicles. I bought my 335 CPO and was able to buy a warranty for 6yr/100k.

You are correct sir. I am referring to the complimentary 3 year/36k maintenance program on 2017 vehicles. Good news... For $100 my dealer will transfer the 3 year complimentary maintenance to me. This is a good option for non-original owners who would like to have the benefit.

That's good to know.. wonder what the cost would be for a car that's little more used but still falls within the maintenance but later e.g. 1 or 2 years with 1x,xxx miles on it.

Interesting that they let you transfer it. As part of the pitch for the extended maintenance plan my dealer made it very clear to me that the standard maintenance plan on the 2017 models were non-transferable.

Ask your dealer. The program is called "Refresh".

Did you contact your dealer about this while bringing the car in for maintenance or in advance? Trying to figure out if I should handle this before I need it.

Thanks

Contact your dealer in advance. You have to sign a few papers and it takes a few days to update and transfer over in your name.
