Yes, in "Expert Mode" for each individual seat module (Driver and Passenger) in BimmerCode..

It works for a friend's 2018 M4, so I see no reason it shouldn't work for the M2C.

Can someone post the steps .. I'm afraid to mess with something in expert mode. Thanks

No guts, no glory..

It's pretty simple bro but if the parameters I listed above looks like Arabic to you, I suggest you get someone a little more experienced to code it for you.

I'm not sure what you're asking... If you asking how to post the steps you're using, I guess take a snapshot of each step and upload the photos..

This feature how I coded it worked for me and everyone else I share it with, through various models..

That wasn't a question mate, it was a statement.

The parameters in Bimmercode are not the same as those I have read for Easy Access on other models.

By way of example, I do not have part 2 and 3 below listed in the SM2 module.

In the SM2 (6e) module:
3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = UKNOWN, WERTE=03
3012 EAH -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 64
3012 EAH -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 00

Hope that makes sense.

I'm not sure how you expect someone to post "steps," short of making a DIY video.

** Locate each individual seat module in the Bimmercode menu.

**Go into "Expert mode," for each module and "custom" the hex change for each parameter listed.

**Save each parameter individually.

**Done. Move on to the next line of change.

[/B]

Honestly, a chimp can use Bimmercode, it unbelievable easy to "code."

I wasn't even trying to be demeaning but merely suggesting if this is too much for you, maybe you shouldn't take the chance and mess with it and instead find someone with a little more experienced to help before you unwittingly make an erroneous input and screw something up.

I tried to post some iPhone snapshots to help guild you but this Bimmerpost APP is not allowing me to.. PM if there is someone specific you need to know, I'm willing to help.

I don't know what to tell you then, the steps the OP and myself are correct.

I think you're might be conflating two separate features;

"Easy access"
I believe is when the driver's window dips upon entry.

"Easy Exit/Entry" (listed here) moves the seat backwards, upon opening the door and then moves it back in the original position after you re-enter.

I just checked and they are there and the feature works exactly how it's outlined, with these changes listed.

Maybe contact Bimmercode which you VIN and see if they can help you resolve this issue.

Sorry, my mistake, I am after the Easy Exit/Entry.

When you say you just checked was that on a M2C?

Thanks

I just now checked in Bimmercode Demo mode, ALL the required parameters are there, you just need to change them, as posted.

Ok, I see what's going on; there seems to be a late software change somewhere in the 2018 MY that changed the mapping for this feature..

With huge thanks to my good mate @///M Houbi, I can confirm all you need to do for the M2C is change 3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE ->MODUS_FA_SLV to Aktiv and you are good to go.

Garage List
2018 BMW M2  [0.00]
Not all that long ago I was at a conference with some work friends, one of which was a local. She double parked her car out front of the venue and asked me to park her car while she took care of a few things.

I hopped in her car, closed the door and fired it up. At that point the car attempted to squeeze my 6'5" frame into the space configured for her petite 5'2" body.

If you are small, and you set this up, be sure you warn anyone that you let drive your car, especially if they are substantially larger than you.

We figured it out in the end, had to input the value under ECU 3015 I think.

I then used the backup to go OEM as I have my break in service soon! Can't wait to turn it on again
