LBB M2C track "build"

I wasn't too happy with this car initially, but after tracking it once it was clear it had a lot of potential. It just needed the soft edge sharpened. A few track days so far on it, very satisfying to drive at the limit. : )

Fall-line Front Mono-ball kit
Fall-line Rear upper control arm bearing kit
Fall-line Rear shim camber kit

GTS EPAS/TCS/Diff coded in

Wheels:

Titan 7 T-S5 on R888R 275/295
Apex EC-7 on PS4S 275/295
Apex SM-10 on NT01 275/305
OEM on 245/265 Cup 2

Drivetrain:

AKG 75D Engine mounts
AKG 75D Transmission mounts

Engine:

Eventuri intake
Active Autowerkes Exhaust with matte black tips
Active Autowerkes Downpipe
ESS charge pipes
Epic Motorsports Tune

Interior:

Schroth quick-fit pro 4 point harness(e82/e92 version, works with F87 as threads have found)
Recaro SPG XL drivers seat(my daily haha)
Macht Snell Floor mounts
Recaro sliders and side mounts
CAE shifter(huge difference)
IND V2 steering wheel with blue stripe(Running stock steering wheel atm)
IND carbon insert
3D design handbrake
IND floor mats with M2 logo
IND M1/M2 buttons in red
P3 Boost gauge in working AC vent(Very useful in a tuned car)

Exterior:

Full KLASS Aero
F8x euro aspherical mirrors(due to harnesses restricting movement)
M performance mirror covers

Gonna miss this car...

Haven't run with the JRZ's yet, but stock aside from Cup 2 tires, I ran 1:44, and 1:41 with everything but JRZ's.

How are you liking the motor/tranny mounts?

And how are you mounting the seatbelt into the buckle with your seat? Do you have a pic of the inside part of the seat?

I have the Profi as well but my seatbelt receptacle is practically above the side bolster of the seat...

Awesome set of mods. I especially love the RedSuns decal 😂

That CAE shifter must be amazing. Can't really tell from the pics but did you have to trim a lot of interior for it to fit properly?

Also, any videos of those runs? Would love to see.

Motor/Tranny mounts made a huge difference in steering feel and vibration, love them. They are also necessary for the CAE shifter. I am using a VAC lap belt mount for the 3 point, works pretty well.

A bit of trimming was required, and yeah, the CAE shifter is leagues better than the stock rubbery feeling piece.

No videos unfortunately(use Harry's lap timer), but I'll try to get one my next Sonoma day : )

Any plans on upgrading to Ultimate Clutch Pedal? Not sure how the slightly high resting position bothers you, but I'm tempted to do the UCP and possibly an SSK.

Curious about front tire fitment, as well

Michelin makes the PS4S in a 275/30/19

Toyo, however, apparently only makes the 275 R888R in a 275/35/19

Would also appreciate any extra info you might be able to provide about your Recaro seat install such as mounts, sliders, coding, etc.

Does the seat give you any more headroom?

In any case, great build

Thinking about it, it's not too much of a bother with the bucket seat changing the seating position so much. I'd definitely be interested in hearing about your SSK impressions, because if I get an M2 CS I may get auto solutions, as CAE adds considerable NVH.

The tires fit fine, though I'm running really aggressive camber. I know it's at least -3 all around, though PerformanceTechnic should be able to shine more light on this, as they are the ones who have been doing all the installs. The 275/295 combo is really nice, because it keeps the tail happy feel of the car with 245/265, while having more grip. It also didn't seem to reduce steering feel much if at all, which I was concerned about.

Also I'm pretty sure it has a 30 sidewall for the R888Rs.

Thanks so much for the feedback

Looks like you have Macht Schnell floor mounts, Recaro side mounts and presumably Recaro sliders with the Recaro SPG XL seat

Any insights regarding fitment?

Did you have to do any coding after removing the stock seat?

Did you by any chance notice an increase or decrease in headroom?

I'm considering something very similar

I would appreciate any thoughts you might have

For questions I can answer, definitely an increase in headroom, I'm pretty sure they had to do some coding to get rid of dash lights.
It's definitely a must if you plan on tracking a lot, as it increases bolstering a lot, and changes the seating position to something far more sporty. No complaints aside from a lack of heating, but I live in NorCal, so it's not a big deal to me. Also it's very comfortable for long distance travel, especially as far as bucket seats go.

I'm getting it retuned right now to account for bolt-ons, but it feels good, very much like stock with more power.
