So, just called A LOT of dealerships in the Mid-Atlantic region today. This forum has been truly invaluable for me, so wanted to try my best to contribute in some way and save some people a little time/energy. Please take this info with a grain of salt! Many of the CAs really didn't know a lot. I asked specific questions, but this info may not be 100% accurate. 111 means they have cars in production, 047 means there are orders put in, but no chassis/allocation given yet (still waiting). Passport had 5-047. They had an AW/DCT/EXEC but I think it's been sold. Dave Comfort is the manager I spoke to. He is trying to keep his 047 relatively local too.

Gotta give the OP some credit; not many would go through the trouble of digging up this much information. Lots of determination to obtain a M2!

I got mine through Performance BMW. There's another local dealer, Leith BMW, that you can check on. They are lower volume. Performance was getting 2 per batch of allocations but looks like they are down to 1 now. I knew Performance had the longer list but I think it's grown. In June 2016 there were 8 total orders, 2 of which were 150 and 2 were 111.

Got mine from performance too. Not up to speed on their rate of new allocations at this point, but got mine at MSRP plus a fleet discount and have always been happy with their customer service.

This is a great list, would like to add that although the fairfax list is huge...It's because they charge MSRP.

True. Actually now that I think about it Rockville was the only one that mentioned anything above MSRP. Although they did say it was negotiable. Alexandria had a car on the lot for MSRP+ but when I asked him he said orders were not charged over MSRP.

Fairfax list is up to 18 now. Got my production number on Wednesday for Feb 6 production begin. They had 4 allocations for Jan-Mar

They also have a loaded BSM manual transmission in the show room available for sale. Basically, every M-Performance mod including stripes. I forget the sticker price but I think about $65000

Edit- congrats on the allocation. I put my name down the day after the car was announced , got a #6 spot and sat on it for a year before ordering in oct

Yeah, not sure on the stripes. But everything else looks great on that car
