Big difference in weight would be due to the mids themselves. Single pipe (AA) versus retaining the dual pipes (Dinan) would be a pretty noticeable change in weight. Versus stock the OE piping is of thinner grade then what we use so while we trim the fat quite a bit on the muffler side of things the piping weight typically is more and offsets those gains.

I want this, to me DINAN name is synonymous to BMW when mentioned, price is prefect for the market, not so outrageous. I hate the look of the OEM...just as soon as I have a budget for it.
Is the install manual available for download? |

Install guide is on the product page of the website. Take a gander— pretty straightforward.

How loud is this setup? I know its a loaded question. Assume on a scale of 1-10 the stock exhaust being a 1 with the valve closed and a 3 with it open, how would the Dinan rank?

You can make your own assessment though based off an old comparison clip we did back in early 2019. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=399792270784880 |

I think a fair amount of IG stories and posts will probably be made over the long weekend as the first round of exhausts that went out get installed in the next few days. Should help provide a few more reference points for comparison.

I just finished installing this exhaust and I can assure everyone that it is louder. I have a video but I don’t have YouTube to upload it to. Perhaps I can send it to someone here to have it uploaded?

[QUOTE=Fuji550i;26216858]I’m actually having the same dilemma thinking if the polish tips would look better on my Hockenheim Silver. I do have a lot of CF parts going on back there so a little bit of polish look may blend well.
