Appreciate the review, enjoy your new Remus system!

Wont regret going with the Remus

M2 Competition Video

It's Friday!!!! Our partners in the UK at Motech Performance have produced a great video of the newly released REMUS M2 Competition system. Same system we offer here in the US. Shout out to Mike and his crew at Motech for the video. For those members in the UK you can purchase these direct from them using link in the video. Great group of guys to work with.

For those in the US please contact your local REMUS dealer for additional info. We have these in stock with more on the way.

We compared my Akrapovic exhaust with two other systems today.

I know mine has catless downpipes and a linkpipe, but it was good to hear the Lightweight slip-on and the Remus slip-on race. Both cars did not have catless downpipes or linkpipes.

Loved the sound track of the Remus race system. However, I did not feel those chrome glossy tailpipes. They are a touch too big and touch between two at each side. I loved the fitment of the Remus system. It fits so nice under the car.

Is it better to buy directly through a dealer or through a vendor and then have the dealer do the install?

What ever you prefer, but chances are a dealer can make you a better deal e.g. free installation.

Hey! As an M2C owner, and one who has heard the M2C with different exhaust systems, do you think that the M2C is capable of sounding better than the OGM2 with MPE? Or are you of the camp that believes that no slip on system can make the S55 sound better that the N55 w/MPE?

M2C better than OG M2 with MPE? That is an interesting question...

I hate that MPE exhaust. You might have seen that I have been quite open about it, but I still believe that the OG M2 wil sound better with a MPE than a S55, even though the system is not really special. There are better systems for the OG M2.

I've got the REMUS on my OG ('17) and I'm very happy with it. My only issue is with the carbon tips as they are just not long enough and for $1K they should be a little longer. I'm talking about the carbon 'cover', when you look at the car from the side, the carbon ends before the exhaust disappears under the car and it looks a little unfinished.

Yep there are others that agree with you including myself. I have no idea besides cost cutting reasons for the short length. Carbon fiber is so mainstream now it is hard to justify the cost. Just seems like it is a fashion statement purchase then anything else.

I cruise in efficient mode rolling into work, but leaving I’m balls to the wall.

Using launch control

More videos to follow tho =)
Sounds great. I am assuming you don't have OPFs on your car either?
What is the exact setup you use from Remus?
Cheers,
Karl

Marc,

I'll be taking my OPFs off when I get a new exhaust fitted. Just need the back pressure issue fixed 😉

2 questions:

Is the "Racing" exhaust system street legal in the US?

Would installing the "Racing" exhaust void the factory warranty?

The exhuast does not add any extra stress on the stock component, it will NOT void your warranty.

Exhaust keeps the stock downpipe, its legal in the US (unless you live in CARB zone)
