Dedicated Track Wheel/Tyre/Tire Combo | UK Based
In a nutshell, I need more grip!
I'm doing more and more track days here in the UK, and a couple of trips a year to the 'Ring and also Spa. I want to have a dedicated track wheel and tyre combo. You guys in the US are lucky, quite a few places offering well thought out wheel/tyre setups for track use. I am not having much luck finding a similar thing here in the UK! Import costs are too much to stomach from US to UK. Otherwise I'd be all over the Apex SM-10's!!! Looking for a 18" wheel, want to run 275 up front, and 295 on the rear. Car is just about to have camber plates fitted up front. Any recommendations on some good wheels that will allow me to run these widths without messing about with the arches/fenders? Ideally the wheels should be no heavier than stock. Currently the car is on Eibach springs, 10mm Turner Motorsport spacers and Michelin Pilot Cup2's in standard staggered sizes. Ohlins coilovers are going on this summer also. Thanks
