Eventuri V2 - anyone got it?

Hi Guys,
has anyone either bought an N55 Eventuri V2, or added the new piece to their existing V1?

I am curious if there is any change in the sound, and of course any change to IATs? I'm doubting many will have added it to a V1 to be able to compare but worth asking.
Ideally it will help mask some of the annoying hollow sound and low rpm whistling, whilst reducing temps a bit at the same time.

it's on their website or IND etc if you are curious to see the new piece they've added.

Thanks

I'm in for V2 if it's factory quiet. And order their carbon engine cover to match for more eye candy.

Eye candy only. Expect absolutely zero performance gain from intake with the boost I'm running.

This is technically V3 of the intake. V1 and V2 have different filters.

I doubt it will be factory quiet unfortunately, can only hope. Honestly I like the Eventuri sound when driving the car hard but around town or even on highways at low to mid rpm it can be so noisy.

I'm only going off Eventuri's nomenclature, but I know what you mean. I guess strictly speaking it's the first revision of the intake itself.

I suspect it will be an improvement if only by insulation from under hood heated air.

I've ordered it, will find out in a few weeks.

It raises a new question from me, probably answered elsewhere but I'm hijacking my own thread anyway

Is there a recognised best practice when it comes to logging car performance?
I hear people talk about 'pulls' from 1st to 3rd, 4th and so on. I assume like for like is always best?

Does using BM3 vs my WiFi OBD with logging software have more detail/accuracy?

Any other tips?

My car is at a position now (FBO) where I'd like to baseline it and then add a tune. I don't actually care about the outright WHP numbers, I just want to be able to know if anything I add or remove is detracting from any areas of car performance and most importantly, if it's endangering it in any way (warranty fears).

Ah, yea, I see now that they call it V2. I was looking at it on their website the other day and didn't see it. Only $130 to upgrade my V1 with the shroud, I might give it a go at some point.

Its still quite loud. The new version is only marginally quieter than the V1.

With regards to logging best to do a 3rd or 4th pull from a roll at a lowish RPM but without getting any wheel spin so you can keep the testing consistent.

Nice engine bay.

But I wanted to ask.

Were those left and right braces removed for the sake of the photo, or are they as useless as they look lol?

Hmm, good looking out. Was looking at some images, and it doesn't seem like it fits with the brace installed. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Eventuri V2 - anyone got it?

I asked Imran a few days ago and he confirmed that the corner braces work with the intake and the new sealing duct component. The braces were taken off to display the intake better.

Thank you for asking. This is something I wanted to know. I wish they had left them on, just to see how it looks normally.

We did that in 2016...I'll see if anyone remembers what we used but it wouldn't have been M2C parts as the car was not out then :-)
