After my first drive I was pressing on the housing to see if I could find a loose area and something snapped into place. Perhaps it was an error on my behalf where the mirrors were not lined up perfectly. |

Anyone that have installed with lhd have this problem? I am not sure to buy due to fact that mirrors are different left to right. And Bmw for m2/m4 developed rhd/lhd model to avoid this result. Any picture in detail is much appreciated!!

Hmm...after taking a longer drive today there is definitely a whistle that is intermittent and hard to reproduce, only on drivers side. However when it is there it is just loud enough to be really annoying.
It seems to have to do with cross wind more than a specific speed. I do notice there is a bit of a gap on fitment on the drivers side mirror where the base meets the housing that is not present on the passenger side. I'm hoping I just messed up assembling it, so I'll pull it apart later this week and see if I can resolve it. |

Having a really hard time installing these by myself even with the video instructions. Getting the housing back on and lined up correctly is a pain in the ass. I've given up for the day

Yeah as I said it's much easier with a second set of hands. I found it easiest to put pressure against the blinker mechanism to hold it all in place.

Even after all that I'm thinking I messed up on the drivers side and need to take it apart to double check. |
