Looks wayyy better than the version 1. Good job IND-Distribution and Autotechnic. Now I need to see the painted option version 2 installed picture so that I can decide which one to order.

Doesnt look it has much of the gap that was present in Version 1 and looks way better from driver's view.

Thank you!
Few questions I have (I am ordering mine today with customs paint option)

1. Is there a visible gap on the top part of the side mirror between the cover as shown. Known to be there with the version 1 from Autotechinic.

2. How is the weave and clear coat quality?

3. Did you have any trouble when installing?

Attachment 1857922

2. How is the weave and clear coat quality?

3. Did you have any trouble when installing?
1. That gap is not there. It's about as close to OEM fitment as possible.

2. I'm no CF expert, but it certainly seems of high quality.

3. The install is actually rather easy. You think you're going to break the mirrors when using a pry tool to pop them, but they don't break. The annoying part is trying to wedge your fingers into the small clips to dislodge the oem cap. Actually installing the cf caps is super easy. Just line it up and snap it in.

One note worth mentioning: when removing the oem or the CF caps, be careful when you're releasing the clips and pushing the cap away from the housing. It will go flying off and scratch the clear coat when it hits the ground. Maybe put a towel down for a soft landing. (Advice from my own mishap)

Thank you so much!!!
I sent the order back in the weekend to iND currently waiting for their response.
As mine will be custom painted with LBB, will be posting the final installed pictures once done as well.

Thank you again!

It's taking me a little while to get used to them because they are not subtle. Compared to the OEM caps, they are downright bulky. That being said, they really tie in well with the other gloss CF on the car and overall I'm really happy with the quality, fitment and finish. They have an aggressive look imo.
At first glance, your car looked like the M2C in HK silver from the angle of the first picture. I like these version 2 covers much better, and am back leaning toward getting a pair. I'm still not sure if I want the CF ones on my LBB M2. The CF looks good on your car.

Thanks! The main reason I got AW is the CF contrasts so well with it, whereas the CF can get lost with the other "colors".

is it just me, or is the gap between the side mirror cover wing and the car quite big?

At least it seems better than the version 1 gap.
I have placed an order with custom paint, looks like paint job will be finished early next week. I will get them wrapped with PPF and coated before install. Once my installation is done, will post a picture to show you the fitment.
