Thanx a lot for this !
Perfection would be adding exhaust behaviour

Is Sport+ louder than Sport ? I can't hear any difference Why would it be ?
If you have the chassis setting set to comfort, ASD will be in 'comfort' when you are in sport mode rather than 'sport' and the cabin will be quieter when compared to Sport+.

See this chart:
I dont think that is true for our cars.. WHen you configure 'Sport' in Idrive, youre offered:

DRIVETRAIN & CHASSIS
DRIVETRAIN
CHASSIS

CHassis in this context only affects steering effort. There is no sport configuration that pertains to 'comfort' mode. Before I bypassed ASD I experimented with this frequently, and when selecting Sport mode to drive in, ASD increased in volume Period, regardless of what that chart says.. I drive a 6mt, so perhaps its different with DSC.

LOL.. I didnt think my tone was the least bit infused with bellicosity. Not shooting anybody; just replying in as neutral a way as I know how to what you wrote.

Sorry if my response came off as rude it wasn't intended to be. I was in a rush and had to keep it short.

You gotta do Sport+! It just feels like the set up the car was designed for. Everything else is just biding time.
really? I thought Sport+ was same as Sport but no TC or something... I need to try Sport+ now. any MPG differences going to Sport+??

Sport+ is like Sport throttle response on steroids. Its as direct a connection between right foot and engine as Ive seen in awhile in a drive by wire bmw.

Sport+ has sharper throttle response. It gets to 100% throttle before WOT even.

I can't bring myself to use anything other than sport+, the throttle response is amazing, everything else feels more sluggish.

I'll only take it out of sport + if I somehow forget to put it into it in the first place and realize all the bangs and burbles from the MPE aren't there OR if it's raining and I don't want to die.

I feel this is the case.

I used to dive in Sport+ all the time. The tiniest of movement in my right foot would cause a jerky movement in the car, so it took quite a bit of effort to keep things smooth (causing my foot to fatigue on longer drives, I ended up using cruise control a lot more).

It definitely makes the car feel more alive though.

Wonder if it's possible to code Sport+ throttle mapping to use Sport throttle mapping, that is the only change I would make.

Yes I believe so. Someone here had that done, flashed everything to Sport.

Sounds like on the M2C you should be able to just set it as you want and save it to an M button on the steering wheel.

6MT in Sport+ 100% time if not raining here in north TX. Once I had a low tire pressure that started on my way in to work and I had to drive the whole 18mi there and most of it back while stuck in Comfort. She felt so sluggish...

I've heard some people complain about the DCT shifts in Sport+ but obviously don't have to worry about that with the stick.

I'm in sport all the time except for highway driving. Haven't used sport + much at all. I like shifting manually in sport mode vs. drive-mode with the DCT, if possible. In drive mode, when you give it more gas, it just wants to rev all the way out until you back off the throttle. It's a little too much for me on public roads. I can't imagine how sport + is and want to try it a little more, when there is not a lot of traffic around.

I was timid about sport+ for like the first 6 months of ownership thinking it was a bit dangerous to be used on the street all the time. Now I go to Sport+ as soon as the car warmed up if it's not raining. You should give it a shot. It's still pretty restrictive as far as letting you slide around so it's pretty hard to get into trouble with it. I drive it in S mode so might be annoying in D I don't know.

That's why I find Sport+ a bit annoying. Now that the weather is nice and the snow is gone, I'm using DSC OFF in daily driving, mainly so I can rev match myself. If I'm doing super aggressive driving and I want stability control assistance, I'll go back to Sport.

Surely you mean only when you are on the track... like the little tag says

I believe the steering response is ramped up too in Sport+, but have not seen that mentioned. It just generally makes the car so much more alive.
