Those look great !
Did you happen to get the weight complete with mounting hardware ?
Whose sliders / mounts did you use ?
What air bag / electrical issues encountered and how did you deal with them ?
Do these permit a lower seating position ?
Looks like they can be had for around $1500 ea sans hardware..eh ?
Thanks !

Thanks for the post... I have been considering this mod for a while. I track my car a lot, and need more support plus the harness holes for my Schroth belts. Didn't want to go full containment for several reasons. Did you do the Brey bottom seat mount to retain the electrics? Can you feel any flex or distortion in the seat back with high loads?. What module did you use for the air bag warnings?

$1500 a set would be an epic steal. I used the Bimmerworld mounts with Recaro Sliders. Any good coding person should be able to help with the airbags and seat pad deactivation. That's what I've done. Yes you sit lower.
Some flex but I don't notice anything on track. I pretty much only go to Laguna, so not sure if that's the most G load intensive. FYI, no sub-strap holes in the Sportster models. I think those are the Speed models.

Thanks for the post. Being 6'4 myself, I have been searching for a lower seat to compensate for the rather high seating position. How's the seat bracket working out for you? And were you able to adjust the pitch using the bracket?
